Details of Training:

Become proficient in LEAN SIX SIGMA and earn LEAN SIX SIGMA YELLOW BELT certification. Become a LEAN SIX SIGMA Leader in your organization, learn attributes of a Lean Leader and learn to connect organization’s vision & mission to the work happening at the frontline. Learn to apply Communication and Change Management. Learn Daily LEAN SIX SIGMA management. Learn to identify Improvement projects and apply basics of Project management. A Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt can lead their teams to improve their existing processes through “Rapid Improvement Events (RIE)” methodology.

SAfter The Training Trainees will:

• Be able to learn about the culture and leadership attributes required to engage people and make daily process improvements;
• Be able to create a purpose, lead team with daily standard work and embed Lean Six Sigma in their daily management;
• Identify processes, problems and lead Rapid improvement projects by applying most common used Lean tools;
• Solve daily small to medium size problems through A3 problem solving;
• Apply the training in their problem and process and earn a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training Certificate.

You can utilize these 24 hours of the classroom as 24 PMI PDUs or for ASQ members as 2.4 RUs or can use these 24 hours of classroom training for your other certification bodies. For PMI members, once they complete one improvement project, they can further self-apply for another 10 PMI PDUs.

Requirements

Bring 1 Problem and 1 Process to the training
Learn and apply Lean Six Sigma in your own settings
Complete 8 hours of pre-work
Open book exam

16 hours Class Room and 8 hours Pre-work.

No previous Lean Six Sigma training or experience is required.

About Your Coach

Charanjit (CJ) is a passionate, results-driven professional, an enthusiastic public speaker, coach and mentor. He has 23 years of experience in transforming numerous organizations, training and coaching over 3000 individuals (on Lean Six Sigma White, Yellow, Green Belt & Lean Tools).

He supported more than 50 project teams and embedded LEAN Six Sigma in organizations varying from 100 to 7000 employees by acting as a motivator, a trainer, a coach, a mentor and a facilitator. He has coached individuals from all the sectors including healthcare, service, public service, manufacturing and construction.

He gained Lean Six Sigma knowledge while working for HONDA and since then coached or led more than 60 Lean Six Sigma project teams. CJ also led many Quality Circle teams and won best quality award from Honda, Japan.

He is a certified ADKAR Change management professional from Prosci, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ and a Project management professional from PMI. He believes that “people are limitless” if engaged in a positive manner and can do wonders.
